In 1928 the Dodge Brothers released their first ever 6-cylinder
Victory which is the same year that Walter P Chrysler acquired
Dodge from Dillon, Read & Co. in a $170 million exchange merger.
Today historians believe that the origin of the name, Victory, came
from the 10-year celebration of the end of WWI which is very
fitting, since Dodge played an important role in supplying
dependable motor vehicles in the U.S. war efforts.
I purchased this classic from an estate about 3-4 years ago and I
don’t have a lot of details about her but I’m going to part with it
to free up some much needed space.
