GREAT PROJECT CAR! NOT IN DRIVING CONDITION. 1968 Pontiac Lemans Convertible. Previous owner installed GTO engine and transmission. I started on this project about ten years ago but after having kids I no longer was able to continue restoring. I did minor body work, primer and paint. When I first got the car it was in running condition but after sitting in my garage for so many years its no longer is drivable! Engine and transmission need complete rebuild or replaced all together. It leaks oil and I have tried to replace every gasket on and around but still cant stop leaks. Most resent parts that got replaced are power stirring gear box, master booster, rear axle gaskets, tires and a gas tank. Interior needs complete rebuild as well. Interior electrical wiring needs to be reinstalled. Convertible top motor assembly stoped working as well. Not sure if its wiring issue or the motor assembly needs to be replaced. Needs door frame trunk weatherstrip. The convertible top is in good condition. There is some rust that can be seen around the frame area at the bottom of the car. SOLD AS IS.
