Vehicle Description
This 1963 Rambler Ambassador 990 Cross Country wagon is equipped
with a 327ci V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission.
This wagon is a well-preserved car with many factory options; it
has factory air conditioning with all of the original equipment
present, power steering and power brakes. This is a 6-passenger
wagon with a large cargo area in the rear. The rear crank window
works well, as does the factory lift gate. The interior is clean
and original, with the original air-conditioning instruction card
still affixed to the driver's side sun visor. All of the equipment
and instrumentation is correct, down to the optional factory AM
radio. The fit and finish is excellent, and the car has never seen
rust or been involved in an accident. The doors open and shut well,
and all of the glass is original and in good condition. Only 6,112
of these 6-passenger 990 Cross Country wagons were built in 1963.
