For your consideration is one of the rarest of the rare 1928 Model A Fords. The early models are often referred to "AR" models, and this one has many of the very early characteristics, such as the powerhouse generator, left hand parking brake, "red" steering wheel, drum tail light and early light switch, just to name a few. The car was built around the 2nd week of production in December of 1927. This car has a four-digit serial number (1519), which puts it in the earliest forty-odd Model A's known to exist.
The little roadster was treated to an older restoration around 15-18 years ago, and has logged many miles on tours since. There are some chips in the paint and other minor imperfections, but this car still presents very well and is in condition to drive and enjoy. Or, it could be "freshened up" with very little work required.
If you are looking for a rare, early Model A, this one deserves a look. Offers graciously accepted.
