Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 19th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Chevrolet's Chevelle was a wildly
successful intermediate-sized line of cars offered by Chevy from
1964 to 1976. The millions of Chevelles that were produced during
this relatively short span were fun and reliable cars that became
woven into the fabric of American car culture. This 1965 Chevrolet
Malibu convertible is a restomod that retains the classic styling
of an early Chevelle while benefitting from many modern upgrades.
Lift the hood and you'll find a balanced and blueprinted Chevy 350
that's been treated to a Holley carburetor and aluminum intake
manifold, roller rocker arms, headers, a Mallory HEI, and an
aluminum radiator with a custom aluminum shroud. The plentiful
power is passed to a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive,
then back to a 12-bolt rear end with positraction and 3.08 gears.
During its rotisserie restoration a few years ago, many comfort and
convenience items were replaced or added including power steering,
power front disc brakes, power seats (!), Vintage Air air
conditioning and heat, an AM/FM stereo with cassette, a custom
interior, and a new convertible top with a rebuilt frame.
Additional items include new bumpers, polished stainless steel, SS
badging, auxiliary gauges, rear antenna, new B.F. Goodrich radial
tires around 17 American Racing wheels, front and rear sway bars,
and a Painless wiring harness. This laser straight, Hugger Orange
cruiser is ready and waiting to tangle your hair and provide some
warm, sunny memories. Street Dreams is a full service dealership
that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing
options.
