This 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe is for sale at our Louisville KY. The
1966 Mustang was pretty much a rollover from the last series 65.
Minor trim renditions and new grill were all that was done due to
the huge success of the 66. This beauty has gone through a
well-deserved restoration turning it into the pony we have today.
The body still has the original panels something that is hard to
find on these second year Stangs. The blue paint is clean with some
flake thrown in to give it a little different look while popping in
the sunlight. With the body taken care of it was time to decide the
engine and as with the paint it was going to be a little different.
The first series Windsor small block V8 221 which bored .030 over
seemed to be a great choice. The power output is great for this
slick cruising car getting it down the road just fine. Of course,
being a cruising car, the suspension was redone as well improving
the quality of the ride that much more. The manual three speed
shifts nicely and helps to spread out the shifts with second gear
having a ton of room. The true dual exhaust helps to give the car a
great exhaust note while not being too loud. Open the door and the
original black vinyl interior is in very good condition. The bucket
seats are comfortable and seem to have plenty of life left in them.
If you have been wanting to get your hands on a Mustang but looking
for something that is a little different this 66 with its Windsor
small block is an excellent candidate. Options on this 1966 Ford
Mustang Coupe include; AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and
a set Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1966 Ford Mustang
