Vehicle Description
1979 set a record for Firebird sales with 211,453 "birds" flying
the coup that year, a record which was to never be broken. This was
partly due to its continuing popularity from the "Smokey and the
Bandit" film of 1978, but also because of revamped styling cues for
the new year. With revised styling up front, and the full width
smoke tinted tail lamps out back, the 1979 Firebird just looked
plain mean. This particular Firebird is painted in rare Cameo White
with Graphite stripes featuring gold accents and pin stripping. The
unique color combination, wild graphics, and factory PMD rallye
wheels with trim rings and white letter tires make this Firebird a
real head turner. Inside is a saddle tan interior, with vinyl
buckets, rallye instrumentation, turned aluminum dash panel,
upgraded sound system, and cold factory air conditioning!! Under
the hood you will see the venerable Pontiac 301 cubic inch V-8 with
single 2-bbl carburetor and is mated to a smooth shifting TH350
three speed automatic transmission. This Firebird is in excellent
shape and shows only just over 79,000 miles on the odometer. Second
generation F-bodies are becoming more sought after and this is a
golden ticket opportunity to get in on the ground floor with this
gorgeous "Formula" FIrebird!! Stop by or email Brian@Burnyzz
