Vehicle Description
This show-quality Resto-Mod was built from the ground up with great
attention to detail. The suspension and drivetrain have been tuned
to deliver modern performance and handling with the classic look
and lines of the steel bumper Corvette Sting Ray body. It features
a Jameson Corvette tube chassis engineered and designed to provide
excellent handling. The front end has C4 Corvette spindles and
A-arms with chrome coilover springs and shocks, rack & pinion
steering, and linkage by Flaming River. The rear suspension is C4
Corvette. The brakes consist of Wilwood and C4 components with SST
hardline or flexible braided lines, and the wheels are chrome C6
style. The result is a ride height about 1-2 inches lower than the
stock �71, with the tires tucked under the car to offer superb
cornering. This convertible is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 LS1
engine, with an LS6 intake and fuel injection, mated to a Tremec
5-speed manual transmission. The bodywork was completed with a high
level of professionalism and preparation, resulting in a stunning
quality gloss black finish. The interior is factory fresh Saddle
Tan leather and features power windows and a tilt/telescoping
steering, while a Vintage Air system provides heat and air
conditioning for a comfortable ride. A new Stayfast black
convertible top provides excellent fit and finish.
