Vehicle Description
This striking GTX is a correct restoration. Undergoing a detailed,
ground-up restoration, this Plymouth's solid body was stripped,
sanded and crafted into excellent condition. Once the profile was
correctly aligned, correct Bright Blue Metallic 2-stage paint was
applied. This GTX's original matching-numbers 440ci V8 engine pairs
with a trio of correct Holley 2-barrel carburetors creating plenty
of torque-rich power. Behind the 440, an A727 TorqueFlite automatic
transmission twists a tagged Dana 60 fitted with a posi-traction
differential and 3.54 gears. A fully restored chassis hangs modern
KYB shocks behind power front disc and rear drum brakes, with
traditional Rallye Wheels spinning BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The
correct black interior includes rebuilt Rallye gauges and a correct
AM/FM radio, a wood-trimmed steering wheel and silver-piped vinyl.
