Vehicle Description
This 1929 Pierce-Arrow Model 143 convertible is a beautiful,
well-maintained older restoration, with the manufacturer having a
long-built reputation for exquisite handcrafted detail in coachwork
and hand-tooled precision for its engine building. This Model 143
is powered by a 366ci Straight 8-cylinder, L-head engine mated to a
3-speed manual transmission. It features a 143" wheelbase,
roll-down windows and a rumble seat, and is one of just 205
examples originally constructed. The impeccable older restoration
included work on the engine, transmission and other running gear,
the brake system, front end and suspension, steering box and other
components. The interior is trimmed in brown leather, all
brightwork replated and a new canvas top was fitted. The car shows
beautifully with its Grecian Bronze over Rodgers Deep Brown paint
and refinish work. This is a Classic Car Club of America Full
Classic and a fine example of the Golden Age of American Classics.
Ready to drive and enjoy.
