Vehicle Description
This 1940 Packard Super 8 Victoria convertible was owned and
restored by James Hollingsworth, the author of the book "Packard
1940, A Pivotal Year." Starting with an excellent authentic
original, and using many NOS factory-original parts, it was
completely restored to show and drive. The Classic Car Club of
America awarded it a First Place in national competition. Its paint
finish is the correct original Centennial Blue and it's equipped
with the legendary 356ci 8-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed
manual transmission, deluxe steering wheel, heater defroster,
fender skirts, Cormorant hood ornament and modern Hi-Speed axle
gears. It has less than 5,000 miles since restoration.
