Vehicle Description
This 1967 Ford Mustang Resto-Mod has less than 2,500 miles since
completion. It's a one-of-a-kind Heller Ford build. The high-dollar
build took over 3,000 engineer hours over several years, and merged
a new 2005 Mustang GT and a 1967 Mustang GT by grafting the 1967
body panels onto a 2005 frame. The resulting Resto-Mod has an
all-metal body, except for the carbon-fiber hood. The 1967 body had
to be widened by 8 inches to fit a 2005 frame. The exterior is
painted in Hot Hughes Cosmic Dust by DuPont. The interior features
six-way driver's seat, front and side airbags, and an AM/FM/CD/MP3
stereo. This custom Mustang is powered by a Saleen Supercharged
4.6-liter V8 engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and
rides on HRE wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. It comes
equipped with Baer disc brakes, power windows, steering, brakes and
locks, tilt steering, cruise control and air conditioning.
