Vehicle Description
This factory K10 4x4 short-bed pickup is one of 1,698 produced. Its
restoration started with a solid Colorado truck. No expense was
spared on this ground-up rotisserie restoration. Its laser-straight
body panels are finished in 2-stage gray pearl paint with a white
roof, fully sanded and buffed to show-quality. All panels were
painted off the cab for a stunning finish throughout. The original
rock-solid floors were Rhino-lined for sound-deadening. The
interior features custom houndstooth bucket seats and console, tilt
steering column and 3-spoke wood wheel and a Vintage Air system. It
has an all-new wiring harness, gauges with tachometer, and all-new
glass and weatherstripping. All lights were replaced with modern
HID units, and all chrome and stainless pieces were restored to
show-quality or replaced with new ones. The custom walnut bed floor
was handmade and is stunning with custom-made machined fasteners.
This pickup is powered by an upgraded Vortech 5.7-liter V8 engine
mated to an overdrive 700R4 automatic transmission. The 3.70
differentials were completely rebuilt and Hydro-Boost power disc
brakes and steering were installed. Almost all of the hardware used
was replaced with upgraded stainless-steel pieces. The
undercarriage is as detailed as the top side; it's a stunning truck
from top to bottom. No bolt was left unturned on this build, and it
has been driven less than 300 break-in miles since its completion.
