Vehicle Description
Over $100,000 invested and it was worth very penny! Has a 4 inch
stack of invoices and documentation. The quality is high
throughout. I believe every piece is new. The overall look turned
out incredible. Everything about it- the stance, colors, clean look
of a stripped down 150. But if you like flash, under the hood has
plenty. Less then 3,000 miles since finished.
UNDERSIDE: It is gorgeous! Pretty as the top side. The powder
coated frame and suspension look great against the gloss silver
floors. Even the wheel wells are silver. Up front it has 2 inch
drop spindles, Heidts tubular control arms and sway bar, coil over
shocks, rack & pinion steering and Flaming river steering linkage.
In back it has a Moser 9 inch rear with 33 spline axles and 3.50
gear. Rear suspension is a TCI 4 link with sway bar. Custom fuel
tank, braided lines. Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 corners with 11
inch drilled rotors. Has Flowmaster exhaust routed out the
bumper.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, it is awesome. Firewall was smoothed and
painted gloss silver along with inner fenders and bottom of hood.
Fully dressed in polished aluminum parts. Sitting on top of the 383
stroker motor is a$3,539 Holley Ram Jet fuel injection system.
Inside the motor there are roller rockers, 4 bolt mains, stainless
valves, double row timing gears, Keith Black pistons, Scat steel
crank, all good stuff. The assembly was balanced. It has Pro
Topline aluminum heads. Also has Sanderson ceramic coated headers,
MSD computer controlled ignition system, March serpentine belt and
pulley system. The air conditioning has polished Sanderson
compressor and the lines are routed through fender. Aluminum water
pump, water neck, BeCool radiator, stainless hoses and dual
electric fans.
EXTERIOR: Body was restored to perfection. The paint is laid out
like glass. Actually all the glass is new too. Has California 1
piece bumper. Every piece of chrome and trim is new. Every piece of
rubber is new. Some features include rolled rear fender lips for
wider tires, Fuel Injected cross flag emblems and LED taillights
with bluedots. It rides on 17 inch Stockton rally wheels with
police caps.
INTERIOR: It was completely sound proofed with dynamat, including
in the trunk. Seats were recushioned and upholstered in the
original type "cobblestone" fabric and matching door panels. New
armrests, handles, cranks, seatbelts, headliner, carpet etc.
Interior metal trim and dash is painted gloss black. It's a radio,
clock and lighter delete dash. Has factory chrome a/c vents and
controls are in stock location. Sharp looking custom gauge cluster
and custom wheel on tilt column. Has custom intermittent wiper
motor hidden under the dash. There is a stereo mounted under the
dash. Trunk is boxed in and fully carpeted. Battery is relocated to
the trunk.
The end result of this build is one of the finest custom 57s
around. Yeah it looks great, but it genuinely is right in every
respect. Fit and function is awesome!
