Welcome to THE VETTE NET, your modern destination for buying and
selling your Corvette. We are a Nationwide and International
Corvette Brokerage Network, in business since 1998 and Lifetime
Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. It is almost
impossible to overstate the significance of the 1967 model, as the
last of the second generation of Corvettes, the \"Mid-years\"
(1963-1967). Add to that the respectable 427 engine, then the
three-deuce 435 HP and you have the most desirable and collectable
Corvette. Our offer today is a beautiful Convertible equipped with
the 427/435 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, power brakes and
power steering (rare combo), power windows, factory side pipes,
4.56 rear axle, all in all, a very well optioned classic. Off-frame
restored in 2000, it looks and feels fresh with no reproach. The
engine has the correct matching numbers (VIN and suffix) on the
engine pad and the correct cast and date. It is dressed very well
with the correct Chrome shielding, orange block and valve covers,
breathing in through a set of triple Holley carburetors, the famous
trademark of the 435 HP setup. Transmission is a year-correct M21
close-ratio four-speed manual. The rear end is the original 4.56
(!) giving you monster acceleration. Factory side pipes complete
the race setup. The interior looks great being fitted with Leather
Saddle interior, seat back are original, though, new correct
carpet, door panels, dash, etc. Pretty much everything is new and
functional too. Yes, all the gauges and instruments work, including
the clock, also, the original radio is functional. Note the correct
Teak steering wheel. Headlights operate properly too. Paint is
stunning! The correct Marlboro Maroon paint was applied when car
was off-frame restored and it is in excellent condition with no
imperfections whatsoever. Chrome bumpers are new, so are the
correct wheels and beauty rings.Car runs and drives like it should,
exhibiting plenty of raw of power, there are no shakes and rattles,
no pulling, stops on a dime. Actually, the seller states there are
only 65K documented miles on the car which is consistent with the
overall look and feel. It comes with the original bill of sale from
1967 and owner's manual. What does the car need? Glad you asked!
Actually nothing, just a new home and a collector to enjoy it.
Needless to say, these cars have definitely great investment
potential and the prestigious Hagerty Price Guide is placing an
average value of $126000 on a #3 "Good" condition example. Let's be
fair and accept this is definitely a little more than average.
Also, auction reports indicate a 5% appreciation for #3 cars and
10% appreciation for #1 cars, so you cannot go wrong.Located in
