Vehicle Description
STK 2426 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback
This 1967 Fastback is a fully restored example of a very popular
Mustang. The exterior was stripped to bare metal in 2017 and
beautifully refinished with Deep Impact Blue (code J4) base
coat/clear coat. It was accented with Shelby stripes and
distinctive Shelby fiberglass components: hood, trunk, quarter
extensions and side scoops. Stylish 17" REV Torque-Thrust wheels
mount new Sumitumo HTR-Z radial tires. The Black vinyl interior has
been restored back-to-original - new seats, carpeting and
weather-stripping are all well presented. A custom wood-grained
steering wheel replaces the original 'padded' wheel and the stereo
is an aftermarket AM/FM unit. Foil sound-proofing was added to the
floors. The Mustang is powered by the original 289ci small block
that was totally rebuilt by Poteats Engine Rebuilders. This Mustang
was a "C" code (289/2V) car from the factory, but is now equipped
with a dual plane aluminum intake, Holley 4V and tube headers with
dual exhaust - this motor is stout. The transmission is a 3-speed
automatic with console shift. Brakes are standard 4-wheel drum.
Chassis upgrades include upper/lower control arms, tie rod bushings
and other components. This is a very nice Mustang fastback that
will soon be finding a new Blue Oval garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
