Numbers-Matching R-Code w/ Deluxe Marti Report
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback was built in the San Jose
plant on April 28th, 1969, which happened to be six days behind
schedule. The engine block was produced on February 19th, 1969 and
the heads (code 8k) in November of 1968. The current owner was
able to verify that the correct rear end (9C28), the correct
transmission (RUG AE 2), the correct carburetor (C9AF-M), the
correct differential (WFD) and the correct 3.50:1 gears (9B) are
all still in place. Additionally, all of the floors, frame rails,
doors, fenders and torque boxes are 100% original without and
visible rust, fillers or other damage.

The current owner of this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback saw it
at a Bay Area drag strip over 20 years ago and purchased it on the
spot. What followed was a complete tear-down to bare metal before
this beautiful muscle car was stripped, sealed and finished in
Black PPG Concept Urethane Paint. A new interior was also
installed including new instrument panels, a new Ford dash pad,
plus a new windshield, door panels, headliner, upholstery and seat
buns. You'll also find new chrome bumpers, a new Ford grille, new
weather stripping/rubber, new marker lights, and new steel
moldings. Combined with color keyed racing mirrors, the factory
rim blow steering wheels, center console and clock, is it a
gorgeous example that comes exceedingly close to absolute
perfection.
