Vehicle Description
The 1962 Chevrolet Impala hardtop defined what a cool cruiser
should be. So when you find one that has been expertly restored for
glittering chrome, a Super Sport appearance, and a great color
coordination inside & out, then this is a terrific turn-key total
package.
Take a moment to really appreciate what you checking out. This
coupe was given a full frame-off restoration in 2003. Because they
paid for superior quality back then, and have only treated this
coupe with respect ever since, it still looks fresh from the
restoration. The turquoise paint looks great under our showroom
lights, and it's absolutely stunning when the sunlight is radiating
off of its crisp sheetmetal. The Impala was restyled this year to
give it a more sophisticated roofline, and this one showcases it
with the hardtop finished in a pristine white. And while the paint
and body had solid investment, you can also instantly tell there
was a small fortune spent on the chrome. The wraparound bumpers,
big grille, dual antennas, and all the window trim shines even
brighter than the factory could even make them. And those large
18-inch wheels add to the shine while also hinting at added
performance. But we bet you're favorite brightwork elements also
add to the iconic nature. Not only does this have full Super Sport
badging, but also we know you love the machined aluminum touches.
They highlight the hallmark six-element taillight package and draw
even more attention to the full-length side trim.
When you open the door, the full turquoise and white package
continues. The seats were expertly finished to not only have a
great two-tone appearance, but also there are comfortable cloth
inserts for where you sit. Plus, the button-top presentation here
correctly coordinates with the door panels. And when you add in the
white headliner and turquoise dash, it's a terrifically coordinated
total package. This one really has a ton of great period-correct
details like the tissue box holder, passenger grab handle, and full
bright dash with the original AM radio still on display. But they
also made sure to give this the right upgrades during the
restoration, too. For example, you have an AM/FM/CD stereo hidden
in the glovebox that provides the real tunes. Plus, you can tell
this is a true driver's car with the upgraded white and chrome
steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and large column-mounted
tach.
You'll love taking this one to car shows, because the moment you
lift the hood, crowds will start to gather. They took their time
during the restoration to make sure that the whole engine bay was a
festival of turquoise and polished components. Even the block was
painted to match the car! More than just an award-worthy
presentation, you're looking at plenty of the right power. It's
Chevy's 350 cubic-inch V8 that has been upgraded with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, four-core aluminum
radiator, and ceramic coated headers that feed the side-exiting
dual exhaust. This makes for extra power and extra bass as this
hardtop hits the streets. And just to make sure it's a true
cruiser, it has great driving features like a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
This is exactly what you want when looking for a complete custom
cruiser. So if you want it all, and you want it tomorrow, then you
