Vehicle Description
1934 Chevrolet Cabriolet
From the unique color combination to the beautiful body lines of a
34 Chevy this well built Cabriolet is all class and style. The
fiberglass body is in great shape and the Cream paint suits it
perfectly especially when combined with the Dark Green removable
top. The body has been kept looking very clean looking with no trim
and no handles. Even the brake light was designed with that clean
look in mind. The LED strip is inset into the rear and gives it a
really cool look in the back. The car sits on a custom built
chassis all of which is painted to match the body. Despite the
typical dirt you get from being driven the undercarriage looks just
as nice as the rest and could easily be cleaned up and shown off
through mirrors at big indoor shows. The car rides on American
Racing Torq Thrust wheels which have a great shine and are wrapped
with 205/55R16 tires in the front and P275/60R17 tires in the
back.
This car was set up to not only have a great look but be able to
drive you anywhere. The car runs great and is really one of those
street rods you can hop in and cruise around all over the place.
Under the hood is a Corvette LT1 motor that has been dressed up
very nicely. The entire engine compartment is show ready with a
nice smooth Cream colored firewall, lots of chrome, and Green
accents like the injector covers and fan shroud. The hood is set up
to open from either side which is a great option to have on those
more windy car show days. Paired with the engine is a 4 speed
automatic with overdrive that shifts smoothly with no problems. The
modern upgrades don't stop there though because the car also has a
Corvette independent rear underneath the back, a Mustang II front
suspension up front, 4 wheels power disc brakes and power steering.
People often think driving old cars takes a certain skill and in
some cases they do but this is a car that anybody should be able to
comfortably drive.
The interior of the car is done in a Dark green leather and really
looks sharp. The Cream color of the body next to that Green leather
really work well together. When a car is well thought out and
designed you can tell. Little features like the Dakota Digital thin
strip gauges which are similar to the taillight work together to
create a very cohesive look. The dash has been kept clean other
than the gauges but a custom center console was made to house the
AM/FM/CD player, Vintage AC/Heat controls, wiper controls and
headlight knob. A little further down the console as you get
towards the nice bucket seats is the shifter, power window controls
and cupholders. The trunks is nicely finished out as well and is
opened via a switch in the interior.
This is one nicely built street rod and with only 24,498 miles on
it since completed still has a ton of life left. Whether it is car
shows, car cruises, or just a Sunday drive you are after this thing
can handle it all.
