Vehicle Description
Both the first generation of Grand Prix and GTO have a few things
in common, however the most significant is its designer. John De
lorean was head of Advanced Engineering at Pontiac. Also some of
the subtle design similarities were the headlight and taillights
with its louvered design. The 1967 Grand Prix saw changes such as
rounded sheet metal, concealed headlights and windshield wipers.
The other major change was the debut of the Convertible which
turned out to be a one year only design and now highly desirable.
The Headlights were concealed with horizontal mounting while the
vertical headlights were standard on the coupes for one more year.
This particular stunning example has been 100% restored and is in
show quality condition. The car has Pontiac Historical
Documentation as well as copy of the window sticker, original
owners manual, tech guide and car cover. Everything operates
flawlessly including the analog clock. An updated period correct
AM/FM radio has been added with the original AM radio included.
Everything else is stock including the factory A/C that blows cold.
The interior is near perfect and the car runs, drives and stops
great. The Grand Prix base price was around $3900 with more than
$1000 in options. You could not come close to duplicating this car
for the asking price.
