1974 DATSUN 260Z BOB SHARP TRIBUTE RACE CAR. Motorcar Classics is
pleased to offer this 1974 Datsun 260Z Paul Newman Bob Sharp
Tribute race car. The car was professionally built for autocross
hillclimb, and track days. It is very fast, very reliable, and
inexpensive to run. The car received a complete rotisserie
restoration with powder coated tub, roll cage, interior,
undercarriage and engine compartment. Power comes from a 2010
Chevrolet Corvette/Camaro LS3 6.2L V8 with about 1,700 miles on the
motor. It has Sanderson headers and a complete Aeromotive fuel
system with surge tank. The engine is backed by a 2010 Camaro
Tremec T6060 6-speed transmission and an Infinity Q45 R200 rear
with 3.54 positraction differential with a Techno Toy Tuning mount.
At four corners there is a 5-lug conversion with billet aluminum
hubs 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Brakes are Wilwood Ultra-Lite 12.5 inch
vented front rotors and Wilwood Dyna-Lite 11 inch vented rear
rotors. The suspension features Koni shocks all around and a Subaru
power steering rack. Diamond racing rear and aero front wheels are
shod with Formula Atlantic Hoosier slicks 10 on front and 14 on
rear. The interior features Ultra Shield seats with 5 point harness
and window nets. The numbers are painted, not stickers. The car is
fully-sorted and ready to thrill. Please note that this car is not
street legal.
