Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is the
iconic 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. This Mustang has been rebuilt in
tribute to the GT350H. The build was done by Bart Hodskins from
"Muscle Motors" in Kentucky back in 2003. Powering this beauty is a
289 Hi-Po V8 with a mild cam, roller rockers, and a Holley Carb.
This engine is paired to a C-4 Transmission and runs through the
powerband with ease. You will stay cool with its new Vintage Air
A/C system. This car has been very well documented through the
restoration process, and ready for a new owner. Some additional
items include new rotors, fuel tank, stainless steel exhaust, fuel
lines, fuel sending unit, front and rear suspension, and much more.
The list of documents items replaced or rebuilt to get this car
back to running condition is virtually endless. The car is painted
in an Indy Porsche Red which is also known as Guards Red and shows
well. The GT350H badging has been added as a tribute to a great
piece of American history. They are Gold in color and match well to
the GT striping down the center of the car. The car sits on a set
of classic wheels with a set of fresh Cooper Cobra GT tires. Moving
to the interior you will find a Palomino Cream colored upholstery,
which was a factory option in '65. Taking a seat behind the Grant
wood steering wheel really takes you back in time. The dash, center
console, and glove box have matching wood trim to flow well with
the steering wheel. For even more information on this 1965 Ford
