1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible, beautifully restored with original numbers matching engine and original Protecto-Plate and manuals. This car was originally a 140 HP, 4 carburetor engine that now has had a Brown fuel injection conversion. This EFI dual throttle body conversion was specifically designed for the Corvair. Performance and Engineering has been well documented. It has been professionally installed. All parts that were removed including 4 carburetors, air cleaner, distributor were saved and go with the car. This EFI conversion has improved the power and performance from the original carbureted system and now has 160 HP. The car has the original 4 speed transmission. Five new Maxis 185/80R13 whitewall tires. New 5 lug Hands aluminum allow wheels by John Fitch. Original options included tinted glass, deluxe seat belts, door edge guards, remote mirror, visor vanity mirror, special suspension, 4 speed manual transmission, electric clock, AM/FM radio, front/rear bumper guards, The car is Fathom Green with medium green interior and a black vinyl top.
Beautifully restored with nice paint, trim and interior. Recent
improvements include new seats, convertible top and engine rebuild,
wiring harnesses. The car has always been well maintained and
stored inside. Detailed records show all previous owners with
history, mileage, registrations, hand written notes and service
records. This car is fully documented back to the original owner in
1969.
This car starts, runs and drives as new. Performance is much
improved over the original with the EFI addition. Everything works
including all lights, gauges, heater, clock and power top. Original
radio makes a buzzing sound but does not play.
This car needs nothing and is sure to please the Corvair Enthusiast. Drive this last year Corvair anywhere. Fun for the Sunday drive or competition at car shows. Great value that is sure to appreciate in the coming years.
