Vehicle Description
The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is one of the meanest looking
years for this muscle car legend, and so you can't go wrong with a
distinct color combo, A/C interior, big block power, and an
upgraded suspension backing it all up.
There have been some nice investments in this coupe, and you see it
in everything from the freshly re-dipped chrome bumpers, to the
straightness of the iconic sheetmetal. It's brilliantly refinished
in its factory-correct Fathom Green it's the perfect way to have a
distinctive finish while still keeping the darker attitude of a
Super Sport car. In fact, it's believed this was born a true SS.
Plus, the right details are in place such as the correct SS 396
stripe, all the right badging, and the blacked-out grille and tail
panel. And more of this correct aggressive streak is seen in places
like the hood's dual power bulges and the Mag-style SS wheels.
One look inside, and you know this Chevelle has everything you
want. It starts with the high-back bucket seats. There was some
investment here because the distinct green vinyl shows very little
seat time. In between is the optional center console with the
iconic horseshoe shifter. You'll slip behind the upgraded
three-spoke sports steering wheel, and see the full gauge panel
that includes a large tach mounted prominently on the steering
column. There are plenty of people who will want to go for a ride
in your cool Chevelle, so to keep them entertained there is a newer
AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner. Plus, R134a air
conditioning keeps everyone comfortable. But even when it's just
you going for a solo cruise, this Chevelle is great. In fact, power
windows mean you don't even have to leave the driver's seat to
showcase the cool pillarless hardtop profile.
Under the hood is what you're going to love most about this
Chevelle. The era-correct 396 cubic-inch V8 looks great with the
bold block as well as the shining air topper and valve covers. They
truly look like they're radiating power from within the engine bay.
And backing up this high-power appearance are great performance
components like the Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock
aluminum intake, and ceramic-coated long tube headers that feed the
rumbling dual exhaust. And while this one makes a beastly sound
even at idle, the whole package is quite easy to tame. It features
power steering, front disc brakes, a three-speed automatic
transmission, and sway bars front & rear. The rear suspension has
even been upgraded with strong tubular trailing arms.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the distinct Chevelle SS with
all the right feature and thunderous power. It's the total package
that's priced right, so you know you need to hurry to grab this
deal. Call today!!!
