Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this attractive and fun 1973
MGB. Although we've had a number of MGs come through the showroom
over the years, it is unusual to find one with so much
documentation and recent service. Sold new by Grand Prix Motors in
Jacksonville on 12/15/72, it has always been in Florida and
Georgia. Excellent records, original "Passport to Service" with
dealer service stamps, owner's manual and even the original Florida
title are included.
This MGB shows well overall with a recent nice-driver-quality
repaint in correct Teal Blue that included new trim. Interior is
mostly original and in good condition with recent seat upholstery
and steering wheel. Newer convertible top and boot cover. All
gauges, lights, switches, etc. are working properly.
Within the last five years this MG has seen extensive mechanical
work totaling over $8,000 which included a brake job, carb
rebuilds, suspension, tires, clutch and more. Older records
indicate a top-end engine rebuild and valve job in 1997. Mileage is
believed original at 115k. Tidy engine compartment and nice
underside with no known rust.
Runs and drives great and feel much more "put together" than most
other English roadsters from the same era we have driven; a fun
classic at an approachable price point and the last of the
desirable chrome bumper cars. For more information about this 1973
MG MGB convertible for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please
