GTO The Grand Touring Option or 1965 GTO was the original Muscle Car created by Pontiac in 1965. This car has never been in an accident, always garaged and has absolutely no rust or body work. The beautiful blue color was restored in 1980 with a premier chrome restoration. The engine has 109,000 original miles with an overhaul performed in 2017.
The thought process in performing work on this car was to take the original engine and 4 speed Hurst and make it safe and dependable. The suspension has been updated to handle curves using tubular arms, coil over shocks, disc brakes, sway bars, and a new exhaust and muffler.
The interior boasts restoring the seats with the original cover but the frames were cleaned with springs and padding. Of course new carpet was installed. The dash chrome was restored with a Dakota digital dash system.
The convertible top is in like new condition with a new motor and lines.
The motor is a matching tri power configuration with electronic ignition, more efficient steering box and chrome column, alternator, power steering lines and much more.
