Vehicle Description
Although the Chassis and most parts were carried over from the
previous year C-3, a few of the differences that GM boasted for the
1973 Corvette were a smoother and quieter ride offering radial
tires as standard. Also new was a re-designed nose and lighting
system for safety. They were trying to get away from the muscle car
theme and enter in to the grand touring car market, largely in part
to the oil and gas issues of the time. Steel bumpers were also on
their way out and the 1973 model would be the last to see them.
Road and Track Magazine did state in the road test for that year
that the it was equipped with the right options and is a pleasant
and rewarding car to drive and was the best to date.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette
for your consideration. It is powered by its 350 v8 paired to a 4
speed manual transmission. The car runs and handles as it should.
The factory carburetor was replaced with a Holley 4 barrel. The
leaf springs were replaced and the front end was rebuilt. The car
shows well in green with a camel leather interior. The Corvette has
power brakes, power steering, T - tops, AM/FM/CD player and rides
on P225/70R15 tires on factory steel wheels with factory
centercaps. This is a lot of car for the money and will certainly
leave a smile on your face.
