All-matching number 1967 911 Coupe, a bare metal repaint was
performed in the original exterior color Irish Green (6606) with a
Black leatherette interior. Very solid example with a very straight
body and excellent gaps. Truly a beautiful 911 to admire.
A complete mechanical restoration was performed including: SSI
stainless steel heat exchangers, Dansk stainless steel muffler, MSD
electronic ignition, all oil lines, rebuilt transmission including
new synchromesh, bearings & replacement of 1st gear, clutch
assembly & throw-out bearing, replaced flywheel with low mass
aluminum, replaced front engine seal, Bilstein shocks on all 4
corners, replaced all brake rotors & calipers and new bushings.
Excellent overall mechanical condition.
The 1967 911 was one of the best early 911s with one of the
lightest chassis and a peppy 2.0-liter engine. The best part is the
way this 911 drives. It is pure Porsche. There is nothing like the
way the short wheelbase with the short stroke motors rev. The
2.0-liter engine runs perfectly. Shifting is precise and very
smooth, one of the better 901 transmissions we've experienced. The
steering is very light, nimble and responsive with no alignment
issues. The brakes stop the 911 perfectly. An ideal 911 for any
vintage touring events that will stand out from the crowd.
Options include wooden steering wheel, 128 Hella fog lights,
European H4 quartz headlights, seat belts, 4 1/2" chrome steel
wheels & sporting VREDESTEIN Sprint Classic 165 HR 15 tires.
Complete with the original owner's manual, restoration receipts,
Certificate of Authenticity, spare wheel/tire, and tools.
