For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

One of the coolest things about the classic car hobby is the amount of passion and creativity enthusiasts put in to builds that can sometimes span decades. And since pretty much everyone here at RK Motors is a gearhead, we know the kind of dedication a high dollar project takes. That said, it seems every time we think we've seen it all, another completely amazing car comes through the doors and just knocks our socks off! This brilliant Camaro is a head-turning stunner that mixes 383 cubic inches of proven Chevy small block with a tough Muncie 4-speed and choice aesthetics. And if you're ready to feel the summer breeze behind the wheel of a storied Detroit legend, it's a chance to turn your lust worthy dreams into fantastic reality!

ALL CAMAROS ARE RED

Or, at least, a large proportion of them should be if their pigment is as vivid as this killer F1's! Not far removed from a detailed, ground-up restoration, that 2-stage centers painted Rally Stripes under thick clear that's so smooth it could be described as 'wet-look'. At the front of the car, a stylish Rally Sport grille hangs a bright "SS350" emblem between electric headlights, Rally Sport parking lamps, a fresh bumper and a requisite D80 chin spoiler. Behind that grille, a steel Cowl Induction Hood leads like-new glass that's seated under mirrored wipers, bright drip rails and straight stainless frames. At the sides of that hood, a clean profile plants colorful Camaro badging amid bowtie-stamped mirrors, traditional door handles and Rally Sport rocker trim. And at the back of that profile, a D80 decklid spoiler shades tasteful taillights, Rally Sport reverse lamps, an SS fuel cap and a second chrome bumper.

ALL SMALL BLOCKS SHOULD BE STROKED

Jump behind the wheel and you'll command 383 cubic inches of buff Chevy small block that's been polished, rebuilt and fitted with modern Vortec heads. At the top of that iron mill, a polished Chevrolet air cleaner balances a trick Chevrolet wingnut over a coated Edelbrock carburetor. That carb feeds a lightweight aluminum intake, which rides between polished valve covers that are finished with a polished breather and a polished Mr. Gasket oil cap. Behind that breather, a billet points distributor sequences spark between an MSD Blaster 2 coil and loomed Blueprint Engines plug wires. Those wires snake around ceramic-coated, long-tube headers. At the front of those tubes, traditional V-belts spin an Edelbrock water pump between polished timing components, an Edelbrock fuel pump and modern power steering. And at the front of those ancillaries, a tough Optima battery rides next to a shrouded, Gloss Black radiator. Every bit as nice as its exterior, this Chevy's glossy engine bay provides an excellent backdrop for the Jet Black engine. And many nice details, like a fresh brake booster, braided fluid lines and a small Edelbrock fuel filter, round out the car's excellent assembly.

ROAD-READY MUSCLE

When the small block jumps to life, it spins torque through a proven Muncie 4-speed, which twists power to a familiar 10-bolt axle. That Gloss Black pumpkin pushes a powder-coated frame, which rolls on a fully rebuilt and fully powder-coated suspension. Turns come courtesy of tight power steering. At the corners of those bones, power front disc and rear drum brakes bring everything to a tidy halt. Aluminized pipes bark the V8's roar through dual-chamber Flowmasters and polished stainless tips. Power meets the pavement through staggered Coys blades, which turn 215/40ZR17 Falken Ziex in front of 235/35ZR18 Falken Ziex. And the car's Solid, Satin Black floors frame niceties like stainless fluid lines and a polished fuel tank.

IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER THAN HOUNDSTOOTH?

Open this Camaro's doors and you'll find a stylish Black Houndstooth interior that's been lovingly restored. At the center of the car, French-stitched bench and bucket seats provide comfy seating for four. In front of those mitts, a monochromatic dash hangs rebuilt telemetry next to an upgraded AM/FM radio that kicks through big Infinity deck speakers. At the base of that dash, thick mats surf fade-free carpet, which frames a stainless-trimmed console that's finished with a polished Hurst shifter and 3-pack accessory gauges. Opposite that console, Deluxe side panels frame traditional door hardware. And the driver turns a reproduction Rally Wheel.

A tough-looking muscle car that wraps a hot drivetrain in radiant paint and timeless trim? What more could you ask for? If you're one of the many enthusiasts looking for a fun classic that's unrelentingly cool, here's your ticket to car guy nirvana!
