Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a very cool,"Hot Rod",Classic Jaguar E
Type,"Outlaw","Bad Boy",Jaguar for restoration or
Californication. The new buyer gets to decide if he wants a Mat
Black, blacked out wheels,a repainted E Type,or an example with good
bones to take back to stock. The palette is wide open for the
creativity of the new owner. "Good Bones",that is the description
of this example.Review the pictures posted and note how straight
the body panels are as well as how good the body panel gaps
are, near perfect fit.Look at the aggressive and even stance of the
car.The car is for the most part void of rust, the body panels have
no rust, the floorboards are close, there is a small bit of rust at
the leading edge of the floorboards at the jack pegs. The glass is
good, the dash pad is good, all gauges are in good condition.
The car has a solid run and drive with a great Chevy V8 rumble to
it.Over 40 years I have traded Jaguar cars and have never ventured
into the Jag/Chevy hybrid examples,it is such a hoot to start a
Jaguar and listen to an American V8,not to mention the feel of a
"hot rod" in the clothing of a Cat.
Clearly the car needs work but one has a good base to start with no
matter which direction one decides to go with the final
product.
