Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this gorgeous 1967 Pontiac
GTO at our Philadelphia showroom in West Deptford, NJ! 1964 had
seen the launch of Pontiac's successful mid-size muscle car, the
GTO which stood for Gran Turismo Omologato implying that this car
was homologated for racing like its European counterpart, the
Ferrari GTO. The following year saw a major restyling with a new
grille, distinctive trim and iconic GTO badges. 1967 would mark the
last year of the first wave and like its GM cousin the Corvette,
many believe it is the finest example of their respected
generations. This stunning 1967 Pontiac GTO shimmers in its glowing
Tyrol Blue paint which is paired beautifully with a sharp automatic
top and an unparalleled interior. Open the doors to find this
custom Legendary Auto blue and parchment colored interior equipped
a handsome woodgrain instrument panel and comfortable seating for
you and your passengers! Take note of the Vintage Air unit and
sharp AM/FM Radio paired with new speakers! A clean white padded
dash draws the eye towards the exceptional presentation of
performance gauges neatly sat in the driver's view! Additional
gauges are found in a cluster atop the sporty center console which
holds the Hurst shifter with custom boot! This sexy shifter is the
link to the impressive Tremec five-speed manual transmission from
American Powertrain of Cookeville, TN. The Tremec provides for
solid shifting and a smooth ride to handle the horsepower this GTO
boldly houses. Nicely fitted in the clean engine bay is a mighty
488 Stroker capable of 475 horsepower! The marvelous work to attain
this power was completed by Performance Unlimited of Melbourne,
FL. Every square inch of this powerplant was gone through by the
boys down there and let's just say, you won't find a nicer job!
Listen to this street machine breathe through headers and a sweet
exhaust system that sounds better that it did back in 1967!
Attention to detail was key throughout this build and every square
inch of this car is testimony of that! From Chief Pontiac's image
in the bay to the "GTO" engraved in the 12-bolt rear, this car is
special. It can be said that the GTO was the undisputed king of the
muscle car market in the mid-60s and still remains as a genuine
threat today. It's time for you to wear the crown as finely built
street machines like this don't last long, so be sure to call us
today to make it yours! Additional features include Power Brakes,
Power Steering, Seat Belts, Driver Power Seat, Tilt Wheel, Power
Windows, Glovebox Trunk Release Button, 17" PMD Rallye Wheels, Kill
Switch and Posi-Traction with 3:90 gears. To view this 1967 Pontiac
