Vehicle Description
This 1972 GMC 2500 4x4 pickup is a super clean and rust free truck
from Idaho. Look at the underside pictures and you will see what I
am talking about (its is amazing). The body is straight and solid
but was repainted in a metallic tan color that looks excellent! It
was Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint. We found no patches on this truck and
the sheet metal looks original. Overall this is a very original
unmolested truck and it drives wonderful. According to the 2nd
owner, who we purchase from, the drivetrain was rebuilt around
30,000 miles ago. The 350 V8 starts right up and runs great with no
red flags and the Automatic Transmission shifts smooth. They added
a Holley Intake, Edelbrock Carb, HEI Ignition, Headers, and Dual
Exhaust. The transmission i s a Turbo 350 and the Transfer Case is
a NP205. It has the nice 3/4 Ton options like HD Axles with 4.10
Gears, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Disc Brakes in front. The Bed
is Rhino Lined and it looks like the cab still has the original
Vinyl Mat.
When we drove this pickup we were very pleased with how nice it
drove. It ran fantastic, all of the headlights, blinkers,
taillights, wipers are working. It drove down the road straight and
everything was tight. A pleasure to drive for a 72. We pride
ourselves in locating vehicles we would want in our own personal
collection. We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and
make sure it is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so
that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the
vehicle runs and drives.
