Ford highboy roadster. The 1932 Ford Hi-boy Roadster is one of the
most iconic hot rods ever produced. With sleek lines and an overall
simple design, they became a go to for hot rod restorers
everywhere. Eventually though the original steel body Fords were
hard to come by so manufacturers started to re-manufacture them out
of fiberglass which became the way to go for anyone looking to
build their own hot rod, so with it being a complete build up,
there are almost no two alike. Built with reliability in mind as
well of ease of customization, the engine the tried and true
Chevrolet Small Block 350 CID V8 and a 700R4 4speed automatic
transmission were utilized. The rear end gear ratio is a 3.50:1 in
a Ford 9" casing with Richmond gears for a good mix of acceleration
and cruising. The entire build was done with quality parts, from
the Autometer gauges to the Wheel Vintiques Steelies wheels. Name
brands are all over, Peat and Jakes front shocks, Lokar shifter,
Sanderson Headers, The paint is a glass smooth slathering of Kirker
Urethane Candy Apple Red with layers of clear. The interior has
quite a few custom touches like the custom upholstery we under seat
storage, custom wood steering wheel, there is even heater in case
the weather gets a bit chilly. If you are looking to scratch that
