Vehicle Description
Featuring a 10in longer wheelbase than the popular CJ-5, the new
CJ-7 was introduced in 1976 and was more spacious and had more
stability than its shorter cousin. The Renegade package was one of
the most popular versions. The key exterior change was the large
Renegade decals in addition to some slight interior and equipment
changes. The compact SUV came with a variety of engines and
transmissions, with the 4.2L inline 6 cylinder and 5-speed manual
being one of the most desired combinations.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very nice 1984 CJ-7
Renegade for your consideration. This truck is finished in a nice
shade of Silver Metallic and is very nice overall. The paintwork is
in great shape, as is the rust and rot free body. The full doors
could use a little work however. The truck came to us out of
California and has been very well taken care of. The exterior
features a black hardtop, trailer hitch, and the classic Renegade
graphics. White painted 15in steel wheels are fitted with newer
32in Geolander tires. The interior is very nice and features
excellent seats and a clean dashboard. A lot of work was recently
done on this Jeep included a revamp of all the vacuum systems, new
headlight switches, new power steering pump, new serpentine belt,
and new spark plugs.
Everything seems to be functioning well and this Jeep is a strong
runner. Providing an intoxicating blend of open top fun and offroad
chops, these classic Jeeps are on the rise value wise. You'll fall
in love!
