Vehicle Description
The T-series was a range of small body on frame roadsters that were
produced by the famous British companym, MG. The first model, the
TA, was first introduced in 1936 but production was halted by the
onset of WW2. The TD was an evolution of the earliest examples and
combined the TC's drivetrain, a modified hypoid-geared rear axle,
the MG Y-type chassis, a familiar T-type style body and independent
suspension on front axle using coil springs from the MG Y-type
sedan. Nearly 30k examples were produced and over 23k had gone to
the United States alone. Performance stats were listed at a 77mph
top speed, 0-60mph in 18 seconds and 27 miles per gallon.

consideration. Finished in a classic shade of British Racing Green,
this MG is a fun little automobile. The exterior condition is very
nice, with good paint and good chrome trim as well. Very spartan
and basic, the car does come with a rear mounted spare tire,
painted and chrome radiator grill, folding soft top with side
curtains, and a single rear view mirror. The interior is very nice
but similarly basic with just a plain dashboard and a couple
instruments. The key attributes of this car are the lovely little
1,250cc engine and 4-speed manual transmission. The car is a joy to
drive and every trip is an event. Basic and and easy to work on,
these little TDs are so popular that there are many companies
making kits now.
