Vehicle Description
Great 8 Contender for Ridler Award. To say this 1932 Ford steel
roadster is over the top is an understatement. Professionally built
by well-known Magic Custom with extreme attention to detail
throughout. The windshield was chopped 3” and laid back, which
allows it to be opened. The three-piece hood was stretched 2” and
opens from either side. The body is laser-straight with precise
panel fitment. The custom Coppertone Pearl Tri Coat paint quality
is truly remarkable, and the color is stunning. The one-of-kind BMW
brown cloth top has a chrome frame and real glass window with
chrome trim. It’s dressed with custom big front headlights, rear
taillights and a Tanks gas tank. The car sits on Billet Specialties
Legacy polished wheels with Firestone tires. he complete custom
interior and top were done by well-known Dean Alexander of the Hot
Rod Garage. The 1936 dashboard and floors were painted to bring the
color inside. The entire interior and trunk compartment is
upholstered with BMW brown leather. The fit and finish is
excellent. Some interior features include custom door hinges,
Classic Instruments gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel,
chrome column, Lokar shifter, custom pedals and aluminum floor
mats. The red top Optima battery is hidden under a matching leather
suitcase that lifts up in the trunk. The engine compartment is like
a jewelry box. Hundreds of hours were invested in the stamped steel
on the firewall and undercarriage. Most of all the new wiring has
been hidden. The built 400ci V8 has been smoothed and painted. The
engine is cooled by a Walker radiator with oversized electric fan.
The engine breathes through a custom polished stainless-steel
exhaust system with Spin Tech mufflers. The engine is coupled to a
new Gearstar 4L60/700R4 automatic transmission and new Ford 9”
posi-traction rear end that were both smoothed and painted. The
undercarriage is lighted mirror-quality that you literally can see
your reflection in. The custom frame and exhaust system was made by
well-known Precision Hot Rods. Everything on the frame is chrome
except the frame. Some suspension upgrades include front hairpins,
front leaf spring, front and rear panhard bars, Magnum 46” I-beam,
rear coilovers and rear ladder bar. The power braking system
includes a chrome booster and master cylinder with Wilwood front
disc brakes. It was completed in 2016 and a multiple ISCA
“Outstanding Rod” award-winner. From the MS Classic Cars
Collection. **TITLED AS 1932 FORD**
