Vehicle Description
Lot #655 - This stunning 1969 Camaro Pro-Touring Resto-Mod was
featured on the cover of Super Chevy magazine. It started out as a
one-owner, original, rust-free car. Then came the transformation
into an unbelievable build, starting with the custom mandrel
bent-tube chassis and a complete custom floor pan system. After
this painstaking job was completed, the frame was painted and
clear-coated to show status. Once the chassis was complete only the
best parts would be bolted on, starting with the Heidts 2-1/2" drop
spindles and control arms coupled with QA-1 adjustable coilover
shocks, Wilwood rotors and disc brakes. The power to the pavement
is supplied by a rock-solid drivetrain powered by a modified LS1
with GM Stage 3 aluminum heads, a COMP cam with 11:1 compression
and, to spice things up a little, a 150hp shot of nitrous is sent
through an LS Super Spyder intake and Nitrous Express injection
kit. Under the hood is a Be Cool aluminum radiator, Vintage Air,
March front pulley system and Eddie motor sport hinges. The power
flows through a Tremec 6-speed transmission and custom-built Ford
9" rear end with a Strange center section. A custom stainless-steel
gas tank and hidden nitrous tank provide the fuel. Ceramic-coated
headers and full ceramic exhaust vent this bad bowtie to an amazing
sound. To keep this ride in the firm grip of gravity, it rides on
custom Billet Intro Wheels. The body was completely stripped and
painted PPG House of Kolor Katchme Kopper topped off with stunning
custom flames and then clear-coated. The beautiful leather interior
features a custom dash and trunk. Auto Meter gauges, Flaming River
tilt wheel, custom stereo, power windows, air conditioning and
custom carpet finish off this no-expense-spared build and Popular
Hot Rodding Top 10 Winner. Original Super Chevy magazine and award
jacket included.
