One owner from new! Purchased from Manhattan Porsche in
Rockville MD, and serviced there since! Ordered in Grand Prix
white, with black leather interior, electric sliding sunroof,
raised hub steering wheel, limited slip differential, color coded
16" Fuchs alloys 7x16 F & 9x16 R, sport seat left and right with
power adj, and of course M-505 slant nose with box rockers, and
vents.
These Flachbau 930's built under the Sonderwunsch program began in
1981, and 980 cars later... Ended production in 1989. They were
special ordered and hand built in the old factory, which was the
special wishes shop, by the most skilled Porsche craftsmen. 1987
marked the first year that a Porsche dealer could order one simply
by ordering the M-505 option. This was also the first year that the
Slantnose option appeared on a window sticker...Before that
ordering was much more complicated.
They were standard with a 3.3 liter turbo charged engine with a
conservative rating of 282 HP @ .o8 bar of boost. The 4-speed
transmission was built to heavy duty standards with gear ratios
that allowed the turbo to spool up with impressive torque.
Built with heavy stabilizer bars front and rear, a full hand
stitched leather interior, power windows, central locking system,
heatable windshield washers, heatable power outside power mirrors,
integrated fog/driving lamps, headlight washers, 88 amp/hour
electrical system, automatic heating control, rear window wiper,
alarm system, air conditioning, a graduated tint windshield, and of
course the turbo Whale Tail spoiler, with integrated front air
dam.
A Southern car, all its life, it has been lovingly garaged and
dealer serviced. Recent 30k. service completed by Rockville
Porsche, and just completed a PPI and service at Heistand
Automotive...Passing with flying colors!
No modifications ever!
