1989 Indy Pace Car, one of 1550. These cars were equipped from the factory with a 3.8 L, multiport injected, turbocharged and intercooled engine derived from the Buick Grand National GNX. According to the magazines at the time, this was the fastest American made production car in 1980
The car is all original and unmolested. Has factory leather interior instead of cloth, and T tops. If you are reading this add, you probably know all about this limited production muscle car. On the highway, it will get 27 mpg if you keep your foot out of the boost.
I am the second owner, having purchased the car in 1980 from a local dealer. The car has always been garaged since I bought it.
Negatives: Appears the left front fender was repainted by the dealership before I bought it. In the picture, you can see a small hole, about an inch long, in the left side bolster of the driver's seat, also inflicted by the first owner.
Have clean Colorado title in hand. If you are looking for a muscle car you can drive on the street, this car may be right for you.
