Vehicle Description
#s match motor, trans and rear. Rare LS-5 454-390 hp with a
4-speed. Same woman has owned the car the last 22 years and hardly
drove it. It had a body off frame restoration prior to her buying
it. Exterior is slick as silk. I'm out here in the sunlight looking
at it and it's simply stunning. The red paint is polished like
glass. Body fits really nice, tight gaps. I didnt notice any flaws.
Nice trim and glass. Bumpers are rechromed, license plate housing,
taillights look new. Correct exhaust tips. I noticed the backup
lights work. Of course the t-tops come off and the rear window pops
out. 15x8 wheels look mint. Inside the car is very nice, not
abused. It has genuine leather seats, original radio. Under the
hood looks very proper and original. It is cleaned up very nicely.
Has the original valve covers with the spot welds that the experts
look for. Has the original ignition shielding and braided wires.
Underside is very good and proper. Solid frame, front end looks
rebuilt, has spare tire carrier.
The 1970 was the peak year for horsepower, making it the most
sought after. This is a very nice honest car, it really is!
