1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible
The Ford Fairlane was produced between 1955 and 1970. The
automobile was named after Henry Ford's 56 room, 31,000 square foot
Fair Lane estate in Dearborn, Michigan, a Detroit suburb.
Offered for sale is the #1 selling automobile line of 1957, the
Ford Fairlane 500. Presented in 10 different configuring chassis,
this Fairlane offered represents the convertible version of the
model lineup. Powered by the 312 cu in Thunderbird V8, this
Fairlane produces 245 hp through a manual 3-speed transmission. All
four brakes are drum and brakes and steering are manual.
The Ford shows very nicely in the color combination of red and off
white with gold trim exterior as well as two tone red and white
vinyl interior. The convertible top and boot are solid white. This
500 convertible runs and drives excellent with no known or present
mechanical or cosmetic issues. The chrome and bright work is
excellent as is the interior condition and top. This car would be
considered a very nice driver quality having been restored some
years ago. A rare opportunity to own a visually stunning 57 Ford
