Vehicle Description
Three generations of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after
the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill
Mitchell's direction. After 1974 government restrictions, the
gigantic muscle cars were being scaled back to just cruisers more
than road carvers. The C3 Corvette though lived on being advertised
as "a more efficient Corvette" while still maintaining the bite
that wasn't currently being produced elsewhere. The 1976 models
featured steel floor panels which reduced interior noise and
weighed less than the previous fiberglass floors. Power levels and
speed were on the rise while power everything (steering, brakes,
etc) made these a pleasure to drive.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this highly original, numbers
matching, 1976 Chevrolet Corvette L82 4-Speed for consideration.
This Corvette is powered by its 350 CID L82 engine with a 4 speed
manual transmission. The Corvette features t tops with storage bag,
power widows, power steering, air conditioning, power brakes, tilt
steering wheel, and AM/FM radio. The paint shows well and the
interior remains in good condition. The car rides on 15 aluminum
wheels with Firestone Firehawk SS tires.
Second generation Corvettes are affordable classic cars with
massive appeal. These C3 Vettes have seen a rise in collectability
but in today's collector car market, are still quite a value, at
least for now. Get yours today, you cannot go wrong with an L82
4-Speed.
