Vehicle Description
1927 Ford Model T Phaeton
The Model T was produced by Ford from 1908 until 1927. It was the
longest running model until the Volkswagen Beetle passed it in
1972.
Why This Car Is Special
This Model T Phaeton is a one of a kind custom built street rod. It
has an all metal body with accents from real Fords including the
blue dot taillights, Ford emblem on the rear, and a Model T
windshield. If you're looking to stand out in a crowd, look no
further.
Mechanical
Powered by a built-up Volkswagen engine that has been stroked to
2,275 CC with dual carburetors and dual exhaust. This horizontally
opposed 4 -cylinder engine puts out plenty of power to haul this
drop top to your local cruise night or car show. The power is in
your hands with a 4-speed manual transmission. The tall shifter
will have you feeling like a Rat Fink character when you're behind
the wheel. The front end is a torsion bar setup from the same VW
which provides a nice ride and good handling.
Interior
The custom interior consists of bucket seats up front and a bench
seat in back emblazoned with "Phaeton." It is also optioned with
seat belts and has a marine box in the dash to install a CD player
and keep it safe from the elements. VDO gauges adorn the hood and
give this roadster a clean classic look and allows you to keep your
eye on things from the driver seat.
Exterior
This being a one of a kind vehicle, it has an exterior that is
reminiscent of the original Model T Phaetons but on a smaller
scale. The tall windshield and body lines will almost convince you
you're cruising in a nearly 100 year old Model T Touring. Bright
red paint and American Racing aluminum alloy wheels let everyone
know this is a street rod. "Bigs and littles" give this Model T a
tough stance and is accomplished with 235/70R15 tires in the rear
and 185/60R14 in the front.

If you are looking for a one of a kind custom street rod that is an
absolutely blast to drive, you've found it! This is a great way to
