Vehicle Description
The Ford Mustang is an American automobile manufactured by Ford. It
was originally based on the platform of the second generation North
American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang
I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II
four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public
would take interest in the first production Mustang. The 1963
Mustang II concept car was designed with a variation of the
production model's front and rear ends with a roof that was 2.7
inches shorter. The 1971 Mustang - introduced in September 1970 -
was green-lighted by Ford's new president, Semon "Bunkie" Knudsen,
formerly of General Motors. Again, the revised model grew in size,
gaining 3 inches in width in order to accommodate Ford's big block
429 cu in (7.0 L) V8 without need for an extensive suspension
redesign.

be numbers matching across the board and is equipped with its
original 302ci v8 and original 3-speed automatic transmission. It
is finished in a clean white color and paired with a rare green
interior. The interior is highly original and the convertible power
top is newer. The 49,400 miles on the odometer is believed to be
original, the 302ci V8 runs great and the automatic transmission
shifts smoothly through the gears. The power top works great and
all of the interior gauges work as they should. According to the
VIN, this Mustang was built at the Dearborn plant in Michigan, the
body series is a convertible, and the engine shows to be a 302 2v
V8 from the factory. The owner has provided us with a folder full
of receipts and service records that will come along with the car.
