Vehicle Description
This Jeep was one of a very limited edition built to commemorate
the "Jeepers Jamboree". Each Jambo was numbered by a special
commemorative plaque, or badge, on the dash denoting its production
number. This is the only AMC Jeep to have ever been specially
numbered. In addition, the Jambos carry a special trim code of 1EN
on their firewall VIN tag.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this rare and unique 1982
Jeep CJ7 Jamboree. Apparently, less than 650 were produced and this
is number 273 produced. The Jeep is in wonderful condition inside
and out courtesy of a thorough restoration by its previous owner.
It is fitted with a ton of desirable options such as a 5-Speed
Transmission, Power Steering, Clock, Tachometer, and more. The
previous owner claims that the Engine, Radiator, Transmission,
Clutch Assembly, Entire Wiring Harness, Complete interior, Replaced
Body-to-Frame Mounts with neoprene, New Disc and Drum Brakes, Four
Wheel Drive system, New Bikini Top, and a Complete repaint with new
Clear Coat. In addition, a High-Tech AM/FM/CD Audio System with
iPod was added as well. The body is in great condition and features
chrome wheels with 31 in tires on 15in wheels, rear mounted spare,
bull bar with spotlights, and side steps.
Fitted with 4.2L I6, this Jeep runs and drives very well and would
make the perfect summer companion. If you're looking for a super
cool collectible Jeep CJ, the Jambo is it. It is without a doubt
the rarest CJ-7 ever built. It is suggested that less than 250 of
these still exist. Now is the time to pick up a rare collectable
Jeep!
