Trans-Am for purchase. Government regulations started killing
muscle cars in the 1970's left and right. However, Pontiac kept
producing the Firebird Trans-am at the brink of what was allowed
(with perhaps some fudging of some horsepower numbers). Of course,
Smokey and the Bandit made the late 70's models highly desired
iconic pieces of cultural automotive history that are incredibly
easy to recognize.
This 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans-am is a very nice survivor with an
awesome color combination featuring the always popular Gold factory
paint exterior paired with the Dark Camel Tan interior. This
vehicle shows only 29,831 miles on the odometer and we believe that
is the actual mileage to the car. It's powered by the original 400
cubic inch v8 and paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission.
This is a great driver in all original condition with the same
owner taking care of it over the last decade and very rarely
putting any miles on it. It features power steering, power-assisted
front disc brakes, front and rear stabilizer bars, tinted glass,
