Introduced in 1974, the Volkswagen Golf was the replacement for the
long in the tooth Beetle. Styled by the legendary Giugiaro's
ItalDesign, the Golf was a radical departure from earlier
Volkswagens. Front engine, front wheel drive, and liquid cooled,
the Golf was a cutting edge small car. Spawning coupes,
convertibles, sedans and even pickup trucks, the Golf is extremely
versatile. Now on its 7th generation, the Golf has won numerous
awards around the world and with over 29 million sold, it is the
world's second best selling car!

the first Golfs to use VWAG's vaunted MBQ platform that underpins
everything from Skodas to Audis. The platform blesses the Golf with

a bank vault solid feel. Powered by a 1.8l turbocharged TSI 4
cylinder engine that produces a healthy 170hp, this Golf is on the
quick end for the segment. It is also very efficient and nets a
25/37mpg rating. A 5-speed manual transmission, multi link rear
suspension, power steering, and 15in steel wheels round out the
mechanical package. Despite being a lower trim level, this car is
well equipped with premium cloth seats, 5.8in touch screen,
SiriusXM radio, climate control, 60/40 folding seats, multifunction
display with trip computer, power locks, power windows, power and
heated mirrors, and an adjustable steering column. On the safety
front, this car features stability control, ABS, active head
restraints, multiple airbags, front and rear disc brakes, and tire
pressure monitoring system.
Recently in on trade, this sharp little Golf is surprisingly fun to
