Up for sale in the Chicago Showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is a
muscular 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. In 1970 the world saw the
debut of the Monte Carlo, built on the same A-Platform that
underpinned the Grand Prix. Unlike the its Pontiac cousin,
Chevrolet gave the Monte Carlo a more muscular appearance borrowing
several styling cues from the Chevelle at the time. This particular
example is offered in the always timeless Black on Black color
scheme. The glossy black exterior is complemented nicely with the
large chrome bumpers and Crager SS Wheels gleaming in the sunlight.
The car has an aggressive stance that lets the public know the car
is as mean as it looks. Inside you'll find Black Racing Bucket
seats and newly upholstered back seat. Turn up the tunes and listen
to custom stereo systems or roll down the windows to hear the roar
of the dual Flowmaster Exhaust. Under the hood is built Chevy 350
Small Block with a beefed up cam, aluminum heads, headers, a new
starter and a 3 core radiator to keep it all cool. This powerhouse
is bolted to a 700r4 Transmission with a B&M floor shifter, new
stall converter and overdrive cut off switch. All this power is
then sent to the rear end to be spun through the 12 bolt rear end
with 373 gears. Options include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Radio, CD
player, Racing wheels, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Posi
traction. For more information regarding this 70s classic contact
