Vehicle Description
1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe
In the late 1920s and early 1930s, the Ford Model A was one of the
most publicized and best-selling cars in America. It was sporty,
attractive, well-built, and smooth-running compared to the Model T,
which it replaced in the 1928 model year. Thousands of people were
eager to see for themselves that "Henry's made a lady out of
Lizzie," and they stormed Ford showrooms when the Model A debuted
on December 2, 1927
If you've ever had an urge for a Model A Ford Coupe then this one
is for you. This beautiful 1930 Deluxe Coupe in Brewster Green was
owned for the last 32 years by the same owner. The Apple Green
wheels round out the look. The interior is a very rich looking
brown mohair that completes the looks of the coupe. This coupe was
professionally restored in 2003 and it shows very minimal wear
since. It is powered by a water-cooled L-head inline 4-cylinder
201ci engine producing 40hp. The transmission is a conventional
3-speed sliding gear manual transmission and stopping power is
provided by 4-wheel mechanical disc brakes. The owners did local
tours with this car and really enjoyed it, but there comes a time
when you need to move on, and now is the time for you to take over
the care of this great car. With rumble seat and classic "A" looks,
the 1930 Ford Deluxe model is ready for those Sunday country drives
we all remember from years past.
