Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this 1973
Buick Riviera GS Stage 1 for sale in our Arizona showroom. Painted
a non-original, but very attractive, shade of a darker bronze
metallic with a non-original interior two-tone light and dark brown
cloth covering the interior, this car is sure to get noticed! This
model was the last year of the three year styling cycle of the
third-generation Riviera. Originally designed by GM stylist Jerry
Hirschberg (under the watchful eye of the legendary Bill Mitchell),
this design was meant to evoke Buick styling of the past, but
instead was considered pretty radical by customer standards at the
time. The '73 was down-sized from the previous two years, but this
was only enough to sell 34,080 units before the newly styled 1974
model debuted. This Rivvy is a one owner car and it was fully
loaded, showing an original window sticker price of $7,358.05. The
original sticker is here in perfect condition! It's equipped with
every imaginable option and has the legendary Gran Sport Stage 1
package which includes a limited slip rear axle, larger rear sway
bar, and a host of other up-graded features. The Stage 1 was good
for 250 HP and easily propelled this car down the road
effortlessly. Don't miss this amazing low mileage, one owner 1973
Buick Riviera Gran Sport Stage 1 for sale in our facility right
now. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view
